Treatment plans will vary based on the individual and skin condition; but typically we recommend following up every 2 weeks for about 3 months before re-evaluating.
Chinese herbs work relatively quickly and are shifting the body's physiology and constitution. When the body changes, the treatment plan changes, and thus the herbal formula may require tweaking or may switch to a completely different formula altogether.
You will be asked to cook the herbs at home. Frequency of cooking will vary, but typically once every 2-4 days. Electric pressure cookers (e.g. Instapot) are recommended for efficiency, potency and ease, but not required. A standard stainless steel pot works well too.
Photography is essential in documenting the skin. All patient's will be required to sign a photo release form. Occasional exceptions may be made.
